Rideshare
CACS Ridesharing Info 2024-2025
When you start
- Take time to meet one another at school (or in your neighborhood) before carpooling to familiarize yourselves and your children with each other.
- Try ridesharing on a trial basis (maybe 1 day/week to start).
- If you’re doing pickups, remember to add the other families' names to the list of adults authorized to pick up your child from school.
- Consider texting when you leave your home to give your partners notice that you’re headed over.
- Consider buying an extra booster seat that can stay in your carpool family's car (if needed).
Important!
- CACS encourages ridesharing, but is not responsible or liable for any form of ridesharing arrangement.
- Please ensure students arrive on time or they will be considered late.
- The CACS school yard opens at 8 AM.
- All K-5 students must be in class by 8:45 AM.
- All middle school students must be in class by 9:00 AM
