Even in the best of times, California's investment per pupil is one of the lowest in the nation and will not fully fund Creative Arts' enriched curriculum. Our state allocation covers only part of what it costs to educate our students each year, and we are left on our own to make up the difference. Every year, we come together as a community to try to raise the money required to preserve our school's offerings, small size, and unique culture.
This year, as we face devastating and unparalleled cuts to public education, we must rely even more heavily on our community to help raise funds.
We all want a school where the halls continue to ring with music from our Orff-based program, where the walls remain alive with projects from our art studio and every classroom, where our kids continue to bring home top honors in city and statewide science fairs, and where our teachers retain the freedom to create exceptional, challenging academic experiences. To help make this happen, please contribute a gift of any size to Creative Arts. Your tax-deductible donation is essential to the school's continuing success, and truly, no gift is too small.
