Learning Center

The Learning Center, staffed by a dedicated team of professionals including a resource specialist, special education paraprofessional, speech therapist, occupational therapist and school psychologist, serves students with identified learning needs and those at risk for delayed acquisition of the skills needed to succeed in school.

This dedicated team works with individual students and small groups to provide differentiated instruction in literacy and mathematics and consults with teachers to further differentiate curriculum in their classrooms. The RSP teacher also implements Lindamood-Belltechniques, The Read Naturally Program, comprehension MAZE activities and Mental Math strategies.
