Welcome

At Creative Arts Charter School (CACS), we believe that high expectations and attention to the whole child are essential to an outstanding education. We believe that people learn best when they can pose their own questions and when they're given time to pursue the answers.

Optimum learning occurs in small settings where diversity is valued and celebrated, where children have an opportunity to reflect on their own learning and behavior, and where adults model democratic decision making and empowerment.

Our aim is to create life-long learners who know how to access resources and make strong choices for themselves and their communities.

We strive to reach our goals by integrating the arts into our core curriculum and by designing thematic units of study (projects) that challenge children at all grade levels to make connections about what they learn.
